In order for your mind to relax, you need to relax your body first. Get into a comfortable position and settle back. Begin your relaxation experience with some easy stretching. Stretch out your arms and legs. Really stretch. As you let go of that stretch, feel the sensation of relaxation come over you. Stretch out your arms and your legs again. Feel your body release. Now, move your head slowly to the left and roll back to the right. Now the other direction, move your head from the right and roll it slowly around to the left. And relax. Stretch your whole body once more from the tips of your fingers down to the ends of your toes. Allow yourself to ease into the warmth of this last stretch and settle into a comfortable position. As you settle in, let go of all thoughts other than thoughts of feeling relaxed.
